Jennifer Murphy
Jennifer Murphy, Founder of Galore Consulting, is a highly sought-after investigator and crisis management adviser with more than 20 years of experience in the business intelligence and security sectors.
Jennifer is often part of specialized teams brought in to help organizations and individuals prepare for, manage, and recover from complex crises. She has successfully assisted clients with managing some of the most significant high-consequence disasters in U.S. history. A thought leader in her field, she speaks frequently at conferences on topics ranging from digital risk management to threat monitoring for events that range from mass shootings to product recalls.
Jennifer began her investigations career at First Advantage’s BackTrack Reports, conducting investigative due diligence on hedge fund managers and other high-level individuals and entities. She then worked as an in-house investigator at various business intelligence and security firms in the U.S. and Western Europe, where she managed and participated in groundbreaking cases involving social media attacks, high-stakes privacy violations, complex financial fraud, court-appointed monitorships, privacy breaches, death threats, active shooter events, and sex crimes.
Jennifer graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in English & Textual Studies and journalism from Syracuse University. She holds an M.A. from the University of Chicago and an M.F.A. from New York University, where she also taught as an adjunct professor and assisted with NYU's Veterans Writing Workshop. She is a licensed private investigator in the state of New York.
andrew donofrio
A cyber crime and computer forensic expert, Andrew Donofrio is a retired Detective Lieutenant with the Prosecutor’s Office in Bergen County, N.J. He was a leading computer forensics examiner for Bergen County with 25 years of experience in the field of law enforcement and 17 years in the field of computer investigations, forensics, IT security, and penetration testing. He has conducted countless forensic examinations of computer evidence and incident response investigations. Andrew has conducted penetration tests and IT security assessments for a variety of industries, including the financial sector (SEC compliance audits), health care (HIPPA), retail (PCI compliance audits) and many others.
During his decades in law enforcement, Andrew dedicated his time to the education of others. He designed the Farleigh Dickenson University Masters Certificate Program in Computer Forensics and taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Forensics, Physical Security, and IT Security. As part of his commitment to community outreach, he developed hundreds of presentations and seminars for students, parents, and faculty on issues related to child internet safety. He has conducted countless computer safety and security trainings both in law enforcement and the private sector.
Andrew graduated summa cum laude from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a B.A. in Forensic Psychology and magna cum laude with a master’s degree in Protection Management. He holds numerous computer investigation certifications and has been recognized as a computer forensic expert in New Jersey Superior and Federal Court. His post-graduate work has been in the field of IT security and penetration testing, and he holds several certifications in these areas as well.
